More Biofuel? I don't think so

"Meanwhile, by diverting grain and oilseed crops from dinner plates to fuel tanks, biofuels are jacking up world food prices and endangering the hungry. The grain it takes to fill an SUV tank with ethanol could feed a person for a year."

Hell, even the term biofuel is so new that that the dictionary of blogger.com doesn't recognize it and yet our industry is making it the savior of global warming.

Just got back from Norway skiing and didn't really want finish reading this article but there's no use turning your head and ignoring this kind of news...

It's easy for us Finns to turn our heads the other way since no one is chopping down our backyards. We're cutting our forests but in a way that it always grows back. The biodiversity isn't doing that well because of the industrialized "paper"forests but at least there isn't any major deforestation.


So let's just keep on whipping our asses with that triple coated extra soft toilet paper. Since that's where most of our brains seem to be.
